Battling Cancer Race Team Stories - Team Annette
A lot of our family and friends wanted to support Annette in her battle against cancer. They decided to get t-shirts done with “Team Annette” on it to support her. At the same time the Pfohl family wanted to raise money for the Battling Cancer Race, which raises money for the Mary Washington Regional Cancer Center. They decided to sell the shirts and donate the profits to the race.
This team approach is a good way to raise money for the race and to support our local cancer patient community. It is also a way to come out and run/walk on race day. All of the teachers at Annette’s school got a shirt and presented her with this photo (pictured on the right). Get a group of your family, friends, or co-workers together and enter the race to run/walk. Create your own t-shirts to show which team you are on and/or who you are supporting!
The shirts were a huge success and strong show of support for Annette. Annette and our family are very grateful for the all of the love and support we get from our family and friends.
